With Windows updates and updates to Sim Commander sometimes settings can change that will prevent you from being able to launch the sim title from Sim Commander.
Errors
Launch Cancelled - One or more output devices cannot be found
This error shows that the audio device cannot be detected by Sim Commander software.
First, check that the audio cable to the tactile feedback amplifier is connected to the PC in the lower audio card. It is unlikely this will have changed unless you have moved the PC/simulator.
We need to re-assign the output device to SimVibe.
1.Open up the "Settings" for Sim Commander (cog icons at bottom)
In the "Settings" page, open to the "Sim Device Manager" section.
Under "Output Devices" you should have either "SimVibe Chassis" or "SimVibe Extensions" ticked. "SimVibe Extensions" is used for our Direct Tactile Feedback (most customers). Select the appropriate tab (e.g. click the word 'SimVibe Extensions') and it will highlight
Click on the device you have to bring up the settings. Update the "SimVibe Sound Card" dropdown on the right. Here you will see a list of output devices. You need to select whichever of the following you have
Tactile Feedback (most common)
Buttkicker
Speakers (Sound Blaster Audigy FX)
SimVibe Chassis
SimVibe Extensions
Once you have updated the SimVibe Sound Card, close the settings and launch the sim title.
If the problem persists, an alternative is to launch the sim title directly from the PC Desktop or Start Menu. Please raise a ticket of your further problems with [email protected] and include any photos or screenshots that you can.
