In this quick guide, it will show how to use Sim Commander. All games must be loaded through Sim Commander in order to use Direct Tactile Feedback.
First of all, make sure the AMP is turned on by pushing the button on the front inwards.
You will see the LED light appear above the switch when it's on.
There are two volume controls which control the Tactile Feedback
We wire into Channel A to control volume, and when you turn the dial you should see the LEDs indicate that you are turning it up.
Occasionally, channel B will be selected instead.
So you would do the same turning up Channel B.
You will know which channel is being used by the LEDs moving to the connected channel. The non-connected channel will not show any LED’s when you turn up and down.
Then make sure the audio cable coming from the AMP is plugged into the green port on the back of the sound card.
On your desktop, you should see the Sim Commander 4.5 program.
Open Sim Commander and wait a few seconds. Once loaded, hover over the desired game you want to use. For example, if we were to boot Assetto Corsa, hover over the Assetto Corsa Content Manager tab and press ‘Launch’
This will load Assetto Corsa with Sim Commander attached to it, allowing the Direct Tactile Feedback to work. This applies to any game configured in Sim Commander.
Sim Commander needs an active subscription for it to work. Your account should automatically login when loaded, but if it asks for login credentials, you can find these in the passwords document on your desktop.
