Clubsport: Quick Start Guide

Updated over a week ago

Congratulations on the purchase of your new Clubsport simulator. Please check the simulator over and make sure there are no visual problems. Once unwrapped and unloaded and all shipping material removed please follow the following step

Included tools

  • 3mm allen key to mount screen

  • 6mm allen key to adjust the primary seating position

  • 14mm and 19mm spanner (if you need to adjust the levelling feet)

  1. Install the sim in your desired location. The footprint is 1.2m wide x 1.4m long with screen installed. The PC sits on the right-hand side

  2. Adjust the front pedal position – Using the levers, loosen the pedal tray and slide them into position. For most users, the position will be in the middle of the slot

  3. Plug in the pedals – plug in the USB to the side of the brake pedal towards the back. If you are looking straight on at the pedal plate, it is on the right hand side. The USB cable is in position (via the slot in the back of the pedal tray)

  4. Adjust the seat support position – To aide transport the seat has been lowered at the front and the seat supports bolted to the frame have been moved forward. We recommend setting the seat to as high up as it can go at the front. Adjust them to a position you are happy with in the slots – we usually recommend ¾ of the way to the back of the chassis. Once in position you can further adjust the seat using the seat slider underneath. Please note that until the angle of the seat has been adjusted the seat slider will not work.

  5. Mount the screen – The screen is the most fragile aspect of the simulator so take care. Use two hands and preferably two people. To install the screen, you need to remove the two bottom bolts in the bracket. These are nearest the cutaway on the bottom of the monitor. The top screws can remain in as the screen just slots into position. It is worth tilting the screen so that the washers reach the end of the bolt.

  6. Connect PC cables – The USB receiver for the keyboard should already be installed in one of the top USB ports. The cables should be cable tied together. The USB cables go in the USB port, the 3.5mm audio jack to the green socket labelled speakers. The Kettle cable goes into the power at the bottom of the PC and the larger cable is a DisplayPort cable for the screen, which goes into the graphics card beneath the motherboard.

  7. Connect screen cables – The screen has two cables, a right angled one for power and a straight DisplayPort cable. Your screen is setup and ready to go, however, it may need to be powered on by the button on the bottom of the screen

  8. Power the PC on – The switch on the top of the PC will get you started. If the light around the switch does not light up, please make sure you are plugged into the mains and that the switch at the back of the PC is in the on position. If the PC lights up but the screen doesn’t please make sure all cables are plugged in. Once powered up you will automatically be logged in. We recommend connecting to the WiFi straight away as most of the software is cloud based.

  9. Power on your steering motor – The power button for the CSW wheel is on the front and should light up red. The power button for the DD1 is a small button on the rear of the motor. It is accessible on the right hand side when sitting in your seat.

  10. You are ready to go! – Any additional software included in your package will already be installed. Credentials will be provided to you by email so you can login using these credentials. Launch your simulator of choice and off you go.
